Cancellation of Solar farms for Communities does not effect IEC
21 Jul 2014- Dr. Bhusana Premanoch, President of the board The International Engineering Pcl.(IEC) has clarified the news regarding to the cancellation of 800 MW solar farm projects that such cases do not affect the company's business. From the analysis of the feasibility of the project, management team has defined this project as a relatively low yield of return on investment project. It is not in the current business plan of IEC. The Company operates various types of renewable energy, namely solar power plant, MSW power plant which is undergoing testing and will begin commercial operation soon and also include the study and purchasing plan for biomass power plant. By the end of 2014, IEC expects to own 16 MW of solar farms and 32 MW of biomass power plant. IEC expected to generate an average income of 40 million baht per month.
