GIDEC succeeded in increasing the capacity to sell electricity to the PEA.

         Dr. Bhusana Premanode, Chairman of the International Engineering Public Company Limited or IEC, said the GIDEC, the waste-to-energy power plant in Hat Yai by using Ash - Melting Gasification technology from Finland and the United Kingdom, has succeeded in increasing the capacity to sell power from 4.3 to 5.4 MW.

         The Yunnan Water Investment PLC, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with the main shareholders are state-owned enterprises of China, has an interest in a joint venture with the GIDEC due to the Company's advanced technology is environmentally friendly. It also has the potential to expand the production of electricity from solid waste in other areas of the country as well.

         The company expects to expand its production capacity is 6.5 megawatts within four months, which will result in the Company's revenue from electricity sales increased.
