"Gidec" informs to solve smoke problem in Kuan Lung

          Gidec Ltd operates the MSW power plant to inform the smoke problem Kuan Lung caused by the incomplete combustion. Currently it was solved. The Gidec Company assures that they use technology from Finland which it is eco-friendly.

          (26 Nov 15) it was reported that employees from TOT Public Company Limited called to solve the smoke problem from GIDEC power plant in Kuan Lung Rd., Hatyai, Songkhla.

          Mr Somchai Rungreung, General Manager of GIDEC ltd., the MSW power plant in Kuan Lung said that the power plant has daily elimination of garbage from Hat Yai over 250 tons per day and supplies 6.7 MWH electricity using technology from Finland. This power plant commercially supplies the electricity to the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) on December 11, 2014

          Somchai said the complaints from TOT employees and nearby villagers that smoke was from the power plant. The company explained that Power Plant has a chimney smoke occasionally because of the heavy rain factor. It makes up 70% humidity when entering the waste fuel into the furnace. The incomplete combustion causes the smoke out of the chimney. At that time, the company had checked the sulfur dioxide. Nitrogen dioxide And the dust out of the crater and found not to exceed the standards set.

          "The company has modified the fuel feed waste and management capacity to suit the burning of incinerators. Until no more smoke chimney. The company will invite environmental agencies of the government to investigate and provide documentation of the measurement pollution monitoring system for continuous, "Mr Somchai said.
